Delete your account

You can permanently delete your GNEPAL account and personal data. There are two ways to start the process:

From the mobile app

• Open the app and go to Profile & settings.
• Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
• Confirm in the dialog.

From the website

• Sign in and open Profile → Account, then choose Delete account and confirm.

Can’t access your account?

Email privacy@gnepal.org from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll verify and process the request.

What gets deleted, and when

• Your account is deactivated immediately, signing you out on all devices.
• After a 30-day grace period (in case you change your mind), your personal information — name, email, phone number, profile, and login credentials — is permanently anonymized and can no longer be linked to you.
• Push-notification tokens are removed right away. Anonymized, non-identifying learning statistics may be retained to keep aggregate data accurate.
